Cuddled up close on a log, trying to stay warm, Tara asked Shawn if they could stop somewhere to get a cookie afterwards. Shawn looked over at her and laughed like she was the cutest thing in the world.

It never gets old witnessing a community of people come around a couple, in celebration. I hear it in speeches and in the excited murmur amongst guests.

It's not uncommon for a bride to get ready in the house they grew up in. Oftentimes, they're in the very room they inhabited as a child. There are pictures on the wall, memorabilia spread throughout, speaking of their past. Sometimes, in the midst of it all, I imagine that little girl: what she was like, who she thought she was going to be, who she wanted to marry...

Grady. Grades. Gradester. G-man. Grady-bug. Bug. The bug. Buggy. And, he is only a little over a week old. I learned a few things about my family these past two weeks. Well, "remembered" is probably a better word for it—I had forgotten I knew... 

There's a new term I've started to use in reference to the way certain couples interact with each other: "old love." I can't honestly say if I heard it somewhere, or if I made it up, but it refers to a deep, deepness of love and familiarity.
